bump! looking forward to meeting new people and robots. (:
Looks like your robot has a nice flat space for an extra climber…I wonder if anyone in Curie is bringing one of those:rolleyes:
Our entire system weighs 15lbs, has successfully been cheesecaked one time after passing inspection this season, and can lift a 160 pound bot. If our alliance partner had made it to the batter during finals in the NC Campbell event I feel it would have worked great for them like it has for us.
Team 2175 is excited to compete with all of the Curie division. Lots of new teams to meet(all but 2 for me; shout out to my MN friends 2220 and 2883!)
Those are some awesome pictures, Ryan! They’re going in my “show relatives what this game is about” folder.
2013 curie was pretty stacked…
No worries…to beat Newton, all Curie has to do is reuse whatever master plan is developed to first beat Carver (e.g. 1114 and/or 2481).
Swing on by our pit and let’s swap cheesecake recipes :]
Just wanted to mention some quality teams from the PNW playing on Curie.
Team 4061 has a wicked low goal shooter and is very quick and driven well.
They have a great drive team and are very easy and fun to work with.https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/4061/2016
on winning alliance at Central Washington
Team 4469 https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/4469/2016
Nice consistent High Goal Shooter and knows how to play in elimination rounds.
Part of winning alliance at the Auburn District event and the PNW District Championship
Team 5803 https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/5803/2016
Super Rookie that can breach everything and low goal score and scale.
#1 seed in the PNW District Championship, on winning alliance at Philomath
oh yea… I forgot… we are ready to STINK IT UP AGAIN on Curie… it should be a fun ride!!
It looks like we may actually climb at worlds…http://team1389.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Maelstrom.jpg

Team 5803 Apex Robotics checking in, we’re thrilled to get to play with some super awesome teams at worlds! We’re especially glad to be playing alongside some fellow PNW teams; 1983, 2557, 955, 2980, 4061, and 4180!
Our team has made a brief PNW Season Recap video showcasing our team and our robot, SUBZ3R°. Enjoy!

This is going to be so much fun!

Thanks again, and good luck to all teams competing at champs!
Just wish you were on Hopper with us this year again…
It’s good to see a number of FiM teams I recognize (aside from the Toasters), and several I don’t yet know, representing our state in this division. Looking forward to watching the webcast this week; this college student is stuck in the dreaded thing known as finals week and unfortunately can’t be there in person.
Good luck everyone!
We love playing with you guys too. Best of luck to you!!!
What a great last couple of days. Good luck to all the teams tomorrow morning!
A huge shout out to 4061 for lending us some alcohol solution which dramatically improved our shooter’s performance. We hit 5 / 5 high goals in our final qualification match today - https://youtu.be/0py3EN5nix0
Last second cool buzzer beater shot - https://youtu.be/Txs2LMiHqdA?t=2m20s
Lifting mechanism on the practice field - https://youtu.be/KytaHdrZijQ
As our printer couldn’t make the trek from California, I’ve attached out robot information sheet for other teams interested in us to look at. It has our general match strategies, statistics and component lists, and more. Feel free to ask here or stop by our pit if you have any more questions about our team or robot!
Summery: We are a low bar capable robot that can cross Class B and D defenses quickly and efficiently in both teleop and auto, and we can accurately shoot into the low goal 5-6 times per match and/or keep high goal shooters supplied with boulders. We also have a blocker constructed and can play defense. Like I said, if you have any questions ask away!

Wow. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of or seen a #8 seed win any event, regional, district event, DCMP, or division. This alliance may have made history. Congratulations to teams 694, 3339, 379, and 1511 on winning Curie! Good luck on Einsteins!
