For each shirt sold, one dollar will go directly to the AMAZING Campaign to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The AMAZING Campaign, which was launched this past March by FRC Team 1676 alumnae Jenna Malley, was created in memory of Kennedy Clifford to end the stigma surrounding mental health illness. More information about the AMAZING Campaign and its mission can be found here: https://www.huntnewsnu.com/2017/11/amazing-t-shirts-inspire-self-confidence/
Why are people so concerned about what 254 thinks about their logo? If 254 has an issue with the logo, i’m sure they will chime in/resolve the issue. It’s not our job to police a logo that isn’t ours for an alliance that we weren’t on for a t-shirt we didn’t design.
We’re aware of the colors and as Cory mentioned approved of the change to the design.
The original design the four teams collaborated on was a standard single-color vector image designed to work with any of the individual teams colored shirts/preferences. The image below is what 254 has ordered for our team/students.
Thank you so much to everyone who purchased a shirt and helped support the AMAZING Campaign and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention! We ended up selling 152 shirts - over three times our original goal - and we will be rounding that up to $200 to donate to the AMAZING Campaign!
But for those of you that might have missed out, we decided to reopen the campaign from now until Bag Day, Tuesday February 20th! The shirts are again $20 each, and should be delivered in time for competitions! You can order yours here: https://www.bonfire.com/2017-frc-world-championship-alliance-t-shirts/!
