It is for sure going to be a good time and 701 is looking forward to seeing our friends who are also in Galileo!
Good luck and see y’all there
3512 is excited to be in Galileo with some old friends, and we are ready to make new ones.
Here are my “power rankings” for teams using the same metrics I’ve been using for FRCTop25 the past few weeks.
Note: Due to the bracketed scoring of rotors, gear contribution is generally underestimated (especially when gear power exceeds 4). Also, the “Combined Power” is clearly arbitrary and is just a baseline for comparing teams, so I use two metrics.
Combined power = (gearContribution / maxGearContribution) + (fuelContribution / maxFuelContribution)

So is everyone else getting the impression that this is a very laid back division. What big changes is everyone bringing to Champs.
Who wants to fill in information about your own team? Do your best at giving an honest/reasonable estimate on some things, but I’ve got some columns to fill in your more optimistic hopes and dreams from changes you’ve been working on too.
Sheet1
Team Number,Name,From, successfully ran autonomous mode (link if you got),reasonable estimate at success gears in auto, reasonable estimate at fuel in auto, reasonable estimate at gears in teleop, reasonable estimate in fuel in teleop,success...
I created this google sheet with all the teams in Galileo with all relevant info:
Team Number, Name, City, TBA Link, Ranks, Win, Lose, Tie, Regional Wins, Regional Finalist, Chairmans /RAS, Engineering Ins, # Regionals and WLT Ratio
It is currently ranked based on a Win-Lose-Tie ratio=(w*3+t)/(w+l+t) So a win gives you 3 points a tie 1 and a lose 0 and you get the average,

the new addition to the robot active gear intake.

Who wants to fill in information about your own team? Do your best at giving an honest/reasonable estimate on some things, but I’ve got some columns to fill in your more optimistic hopes and dreams from changes you’ve been working on too.
Sell your bot - Galileo edition - Google Sheets
Maybe include a column for links to photos of your robot? I don’t know about other teams but part of what my team does in get photos of every robot in our division and it would speed up the process to have some provided.

4499 is significantly better than their WLT indicates, if they don’t make playoffs I will eat a hat.
4388 is super excited to be in the Galileo division as this is our first year that we have qualified and attended the Championship. We are also glad to see some friends from Colorado in the division!
As for info on our robot it can be found here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aBMA2hbI6R74k5Z-_8JmAOtqYJtyBwwaYRXrjKxzyQE/edit#gid=0
and feel free to enter in your own info!
See you at the Championship!
Completely agree - I’m sure your cap will remain intact. We teamed up with them at Colorado Regional this year and they have a really nice machine and their drive team is really sharp. They’ll definitely make some noise in the division.
Thank you all for the positive sentiments, and we are ecstatic to compete in this great division. We hope to start spooling up our shooter at championship! We are excited to see our friends on 4388, 3005 and 1538 and make some new ones while competing.
See you all in Houston!
Defense matters … we’ve proven it.
BTW … I’ll be your LRI this year.

Does anyone know how Spyder does match score predictions we wanna run the preliminary match schedule to get a feeling of how everything would pan out. It obviously wouldn’t probably be close to the real results but can help with scouting.

I generated some rough predictions on my site: https://frc.divisions.co/r/south/d/Galileo/matches
It’s not exactly the same method Spyder uses, but it’s pretty similar.
Anyone out there in Galileo want to trade shirts?
