See the website for event registration costs, location info and more. Hope to see all of the Missouri & Illinois teams come out and compete in the 4th year of this event!
I had said it would be in my best interest not to return to the event (13 hour drive each way) but it’s the only thing viable going on that weekend (lots of girl only events going on that weekend that I’m not sure how that works for volunteers so I decided to stay away) so…
Awesome Ed! I likely won’t be there this year as I live in Indiana and my 2nd kid will have just been born, so having someone around who knows their stuff is always appreciated GRC is in good hands with the St. Louis regional committee though, lots of great volunteers.
I just dropped my Volunteer Registration in. I didn’t see a spot to mark DJ… But I did apply for my usual role (Game Announcer). If you know who it is that is coordinating, let them know my info is in and they can contact me. I will still be happy to bring my laptop and run music too.
You’ll want to get ahold of Paul F & Dave L as they’re handling the volunteer aspect this year. They should be contacting volunteers shortly.
GRC is up to 31 robots registered as of today - website will be updated tonight to reflect this. If one more team registers we can run 4 team elimination matches, please spread the word!
Congratulations to 4329, 1658 & 5583 for winning the 2017 Gateway Robotics Challenge! Also congrats to teams 323, 1288 & 4314 for being Finalists in some very close matches.
