2017 Hudson Valley Regional

Starting the thread for Hudson Valley Regional. This will be the first time out of the bag for all of the downstate teams and a second run for some upstate teams. We got some teams from MAR and international teams attending.

Hopefully, this will bring us one step closer to NY districts.

4571 is excited to see some old friends and make some new ones. Good luck to everyone competing.

Team 1676 will proudly be hosting the 2017 Hudson Valley Regional webcast at https://www.twitch.tv/frcteam1676, and hopefully archiving webcast as well as full-field match footage onto our YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/Team1676.

Thank you so much for this! See you Friday!

You all are the best. Thank you for taking the effort to archive it.

Wow, already? Crazy how close the regional is!

Can’t wait to take part in this awesome first ever Hudson Valley Regional! Say hi to me in the pits  .

Also, since 2869 will be commuting from our lab every day, if you forget something, or are an international team and need something you couldn’t ship, let us know. We’ll try our best to help out!

1676 - you’re awesome. Thanks for not only hosting the webcast, but also archiving it!

So excited!!!

Team 5123 is proud to welcome all teams to the Hudson Valley Regional, and wishes everyone the best of luck! We can’t wait to see everyone on the field (some TVR teams for the second time) and like Smiti said, if any teams coming from afar or elsewhere require assistance, we’ll do our best to help. Welcome to HVR!

(special shoutout to 1676 for being the bomb dot com)

We are so excited to be there.

Thanks 1678 for hosting the webcast, for us means a lot, our parents and community can watch from Brazil. Thanks!

Also thanks to 2601 that is holding our robot crate till the regional.

639 can’t wait to play at HVR! Good luck to all the teams attending!

We’re not that good…yet

We’re really excited to be coming up to HVR! Can’t wait to see you all soon.

We did respond to the nycFIRST email about bringing batteries for international teams - I’m not sure if they’re managing which teams they go to, or if they’re just open for pickup… but the same offer stands - if there’s something we can help with we’re happy to!

We have a great event planned for this weekend and are excited to welcome 48 teams to the Hudson Valley! Safe travels to everyone attending.

We are also still recruiting volunteers for field reset. If anyone is interested, please apply via VIMS.

Thanks Pioneers for the webcast too!

Looking forward to what we’re sure will be a great weekend!

Quick note for those planning on scouting at Hudson Valley. We learned today that the mezzanine area (basically the second floor you see in the pictures) will not be accessible during the event. If you are scouting, plan on doing so from the highest point in the bleachers. Also, if you are doing any sort of electronic scouting, bring extra batteries as there is no accessible power in those locations.

Team 250 will be doing our electronic scouting as best possible so please find us (we’ll be there Friday) if you would like to help scout. We’ll also teach you how to generate your own pre-match preparation/scouting reports and dashboard graphs for your team.

Best of luck to everyone!

4571 will be bringing 5 brand new batteries for international teams. If you need them please come to our pit in the morning. See everyone tomorrow.

Thanks ryan and 1676!

I love it when a plan comes together.

Here’s the archive of Saturday’s webcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=332s2nXh1rU. I’m also working on uploading all of our full-field match footage and will cut up the webcast archive into individual matches to post on our YouTube Channel as well, but hope that the complete webcast will suffice for scouting purposes for now.

Who’s the FTA for the event?

The Kate

The one and only

I heard it was Jasmine.

I heard JonDarr was game announcing.
