This is going to be the best event of the year, possibly better and more competitive than all championship divisions, and will be very exciting to watch. This is a very tough event to predict with multiple former world champions present
Good luck to all teams, fingers crossed to see a California team take the W.
I’m hoping the qualification match schedule stars align and we get to see three of 1678/987/118/148/1538 play on the same alliance. I can only imagine the scores…
118, 1678, and 987 are all consistently hitting 40 kPa.
148 has been making some big changes (I’ve heard) and should be extremely competitive.
1538, 3647, 4499, 5199, 5458, and 5677 all are strong gearbots that could form dangerous 4-rotor alliances.
I am predicting that the top three spots will go to 118, 1678, and 987 due to bonus RP. Whichever one of those 3 is the strongest at gearing is the highest threat to the others of forming an SVR-style double threat alliance. I think that the strongest gearing robot of the three will form an alliance with the strongest gearbot (which may be 148) while the other two will form a double shooting alliance. These alliances will then meet in the final and give us a great 40kPa + 3+ D vs 40kPa + 4 matchup.
From some videos I’ve seen if their improvements I think 842 is going to be added to the list of solo 40 kpa teams. Definitely not one to be overlooked!

My understanding is that the blue side boiler was not counting properly, which caused the match to replay for field fault. I may be incorrect though, so take this with a grain of salt.
