Ed, is it possible for a team to enter two robots?

Let me talk with the Ruckus Planning Committee and see what they say on the matter.

When will volunteer registration open up? I think I’m finally going to make the trip to New York this year for what I’ve heard is a fantastic event.

We are looking to open up volunteer registration later in the week.

FIRST Team 1360, Orbit Robotics, registered today. Looking forward to it.

Volunteer registration will open up Thursday morning at 10 AM EST.

Volunteer Registration is now open

Glad to see Canadians still like competing with us even though they have their own offseasons now!

Rah Cha Cha is too good for us not to go

This makes me very happy.

Volunteer registration is now open on the website and can be found here:

Volunteer positions, like team slots, have filled up quickly in the past so make sure you sign up soon. Hope to see you there!

I can second that! It’s always fun to play with teams we don’t compete with much, even less so now with districts being a thing…

100% agree. We’ve hosted one of those Canadian offseasons along with 5406 for the past two years, and we’ve both still made it a point to attend. 4039’s been going to Ruckus since 2013, and in many ways it inspired our own event. They even helped us get ours off the ground through some great discussions with some of their key volunteers and letting us help with field setup to learn the process. Overall a great group of people!

Speaking of, is there any word of when/if STEMley Cup is going to be coming back for 2017? It’s another event that I’ve heard a lot about and I was thinking of coming to help out this year!

It’s coming back this November, yes. Look for an announcement soon, since we’d love to have some of our US friends come up to us as well! But this thread is about Ruckus, so let’s keep it about their awesome event
