2073 is excited to complete in Sacramento again!
With 5 Regional winners and a Wildcard plus a Rookie All Star, it is going to be a GREAT competition again!

PSA: Bring a tarp to protect your robot and gear if you need to go outside. It’s going to RAIN!

701 is also excited to be competing in their first regional for Steamworks. As always it’ll be a great time and we look forward to seeing everyone there.

Good Luck to all teams this weekend!

Looking forward to seeing our old alliance mates!

I will be incredibly sad if we see any wildcards get burned at Sac.

Just to make it known. I order a lot of stuff on McMaster Carr and because of that they default all our orders to next day via OnTrac shipping. I can order something before 6pm(might actually be 7) and it will be delivered by 9-10am the next morning.

So if you are in a bind and need something from McMaster Thursday or Friday please let me know and I’ll do what I can to help out.

Also we have a lot of stuff at our shop in Davis. Should we bring our 5ton/8ton arbor press for the machine shop to use?

I hear someone just proposed?

Yes. Apparently the two are both FRC alumni and met at the Sacramento Regional some years ago and the proposal was done on the playing field during quals.

This is the first time my team has ever been a wildcard potential team which is cool. Ended day 1 ranked top 10, also a first for us. Looking to be a great event for the Patriots.

Alliances 1 & 2 are absolutely awesome and have some of my favorite teams! Rooting for both to make it to finals!

First time ever being alliance captains too! Great landmark event for my team, hopefully we have a good showing in playoffs.

Congrats to 1678 and 873 preemptively for winning the regional :stuck_out_tongue:

Congrats to teams 1678, 973, and 2543 for taking home the blue. We had an amazing time playing against y’all in the finals.

We’d like to thank our alliance captains 199 and our great friends 2073 for helping us get to worlds. Both teams are true class acts and we look forward to seeing them at Houston.

Congrats to 1671 on winning chairmans, 585 on the EI win and our great friends 6474 for winning RAS.

I look forward to seeing all of you guys in Houston…

Man I wish 873 was still around.

Happy that no wild cards were burned!

Another fantastic regional in the books. Thanks to UC Davis for hosting and all of the volunteers for running the event. My scout lead would not stop commenting on how well run and on-schedule the event was.

Congrats to 1678, 973, and 2543 on the regional win. It’s always great to see friends succeed. See you all in Houston!

Congrats to finalists 199, 2073, and 701. All stellar robots. I was surprised to see 701 fall so far in the draft.

Congrats to 1671 for a well deserved regional chairman’s award. Definitely a great program out of Clovis. We were all pretty stoked to see them punch their championship ticket!

Congrats to our former mentor team 585 on the Engineering Inspiration award. Back in 5012’s pre-rookie season, our founding members shadowed 399 and 585, Len and Danielle run a fantastic program with some seriously smart kids. We’re happy to see them get recognized for all of their hard work within the small town of Tehachapi.

Thanks to 1323 and 1671 for selecting us to join you in playoffs. It’s always fun to play with friends. That 4 rotor match was insane.

Special thanks to 1678, 1662, and 973 for lending us tools and materials when our intake system failed. Could not have been nearly as competitive without you.

This is what I get for calling the event early, I missed the sleeper underdog team 973 that no one had ever heard of before yesterday come out of nowhere to take the W.

Congrats on your win guys, always love seeing your bots

As a 4135 supporter, that match as rough to watch as everything that could go wrong for us went wrong.

As a robotics enthusiast and lover of smart and clean strategy, that match was beautiful. Congrats to your alliance for putting up the first (and only ?) 4 rotor match of Sacramento.

Side note, I love Harry Potter and your robots always get me excited.

Thank you for mentoring yet another FRC team!

If 701 hasn’t won Chairman’s yet, I wouldn’t be shocked at all if they pulled it out at Idaho next weekend.

Thanks for the mention! We loved working with 6474 and are super excited for them and what they’re going to do at Houston. We are gunning for a Charimans win sometime here or later, but it’s always cool to work with other teams!
