I really like San Diego every single year so far , some of our favorite teams always are there and its home for us … as for the venue apart from the high parking cost ($13 yikes) and one sided stands its fantastic, We always have great fun in San Diego and know we’ll be up against some of the best teams anywhere. I love Del Mar racetrack such a cool place with history,a key part of where I get my scouting/strategy abilities from to impart to our students…class is a metric

Outdoor venue is nice. Pits are close to field which is close to stands. Only criticism on the venue is that the floor level seating blocked the first few rows of the stadium style seating.
The delays in matches were absurd. I understand that they need to maintain a certain start and end time. However, the fact that all but one of our practice matches didn’t actually happen was bad. We missed first match because we were not ready and then our inspection took a very long time (understandably - note that we had a great inspector) so we didn’t have time to go to the filler line before it was too late.
The outdoor venue is great except for fuel shooting. A light breeze is catastrophic to your accuracy, and the sunlight is a nasty variable to contend with for vision tracking.
Also, if it had rained the whole place would have flooded.
