I thought 12 Noon Eastern on 12/7 was supposed to be the time that 2018 Championship registration opened through Experient. I logged in today, created my group and I’m on the Dashboard, but the “Hold Rooms” button is not available to click on. It’s light blue and non-clickable. I cannot access any section of the site that will actually allow me to search for and book rooms. Does anyone else have this issue? Has anyone successfully blocked rooms?
Last year, we could block rooms right when it opened. Do we have to wait until we qualify this year to block rooms?
Thanks, but I’ve seen that thread and that post, and it doesn’t answer my question. FIRST sent out an e-mail blast with the proper links, and has multiple references to it opening at 12 Noon EST on 12/7. However, when following the correct links, there is no way to actually block rooms. I’m not talking about the window shopping links, I’m talking about the registration links, where you get a “Hold Rooms” button that (for me at least) doesn’t click. I want to know if it’s just me and if I’m missing out on something other teams are able to do, or if they actually have not opened it up for everyone yet.
It appears to be now open for all teams. The “Hold Rooms” button is available for me, and I was easily and successfully able to block rooms. There are sufficient choices with sufficient quantity of rooms for Houston. I recommend jumping on it if you have a particular hotel or rate you want, especially if you have a large quantity of rooms you need.
