2018 UTC grant

Our team has been looking for info on the 2018 UTC grant hoping to apply for it. We recently have gained a sponsor from Pratt and Whitney and would like to make use of the opportunities we have because of him. In previous years the deadline was October 17 and that is coming up fast. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, we are in the same boat… Our UTC mentor hasn’t seen anything on his end, although he tends to be quite busy. If anyone else has info on UTC, pass along any insight you have.

Copied from an email I received from the UTC Grant people—

"You haven’t missed anything; the application hasn’t been posted yet. I can confirm you’re on the e-mail list and that the application will be posted within the next seven days.

Please also note that this year – and I’ll include this in all correspondence to coaches, mentors, players, and parents – that the application must be completed by the mentor, and that the mentor remain the point of contact for the team for anything UTC-related."

Please do NOT email them directly! (I work at United Technologies Aerospace Systems and am on top of it.)

Thanks for the info… good to know it is still out there in the works and we didn’t miss anything!

Thanks for providing this info for us. We didn’t know the mentor had to complete it so that is good info to know.

Grant process is now open at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2YVZJWD

There have been changes to the amount of the grants. this is copied from the email we’ve received:
