Robokong is looking forward to competing at AVR for the second year in a row. Great facility and teams!

We add a little sompe’n sompe’n to our robot for Aerospace Valley.

It doesn’t look like it was emailed to teams, but I was informed that team info like agendas and maps can be found on the website here:

Good luck to everyone this weekend! 5012 is super stoked to play Deep Space again.

I hope all the teams who attended Aerospace Valley Regional had a good time! We would love to hear your feedback on the event including any suggestions on how to improve the experience for teams in 2020.

I loved your robot so much and was one of the greatest and most elegant intake I’ve ever seen. Also nice battery placement

Also whats up with the mice hanging on the wall?

The judges at AVR were awesome this year, we had 9 judges visit our pits on Friday! They were all very engaged with the students.

I saw judges in the pits on Friday before opening ceremonies, not sure if you schedule any pit interviews before opening ceremonies, but most teams are pretty busy getting ready for the day and it really helps if pit interviews don’t begin until after opening ceremonies.

Hey Billbo, how does your intake have enough torque to move the whole robot forward? Are you using a 2 speed?
