Will graduating seniors be able to participate on the Drive Team, or will it follow the FRC Game manual definitions on the Drive Team?
3946 didn’t test this last year, as the drive team was (2018) Juniors and younger. I expect it to be OK, as we did have recent graduates on some Redstick Rumble drive teams. I never heard anything about anyone asking in that level of detail at either event. Still, the final call is up to @Fusion_Clint.
We would not presume to tell teams when to switch their drive team members. Our team just made this decision and it was difficult.
Bottom line, it is up to each team. We do ask that your drive team have been eligible for this past season.
Also a reminder that if your team is considering attending this years Beach Bot Battle the early registration ($250) ends Saturday at midnight; beginning June 2nd the registration fee increases to $350.

Teams, we have decided that once we have 24 paying robots, that free second robots will not be included in the playoffs to insure that every paid robot gets a equal chance to participate in playoffs.
Unpaid second robots will still be able to participate in qualification rounds. It is up to your team on how you wish handle any second robot you decide to bring.
**If your team has already registered and decides to pay for second robot, we will honor the early bird registration fee. **
We currently have 20 paid robots attending, I am not sure if anyone else is bringing a second robot.
Here is the current team list. Still time to register.

2992 is bringing a 2nd bot.
Team 6829 would like to bring a second robot if it isn’t too late!
Second robots are fine. However, once we have 24 paid robots, the “free” second robots won’t be eligible for playoffs.
We currently have 20 paid robots; adding in 2992, 3039, and 6829 “free” second bots we are at 23 robots right now.
If we wind up somewhere in between, we will let the highest ranked “free” second bots into the playoffs until we have a full 24 team playoff roster.
4336 2nd bot
Question about Pit set ups. If we are bringing a second robot, do we have to store both robots in one pit? Or is it going to be separated into two pits?
you will get two pits
is their a link somewhere to a live stream for the comp
I’m not at the event but my team is there. The update I got from them was that there likely won’t be a live stream.
The Clarks (Michael, Michelle, Tiffany, and Cameron) got full-field video of the whole thing, and had a dolly camera to follow robots of particular interest; Just as with Bayou this year, I expect them to post it in the not too distant future. In addition to the 17 teams listed on TBA, there were 7 second robots, so we did have a full 8 alliance tournament this year.
Howdy,
Does anyone know the winning alliance from this event?
I wasn’t there, but from the texts I was getting, the winning alliance was 1912 Team Combustion, 1421 Team Chaos, and an offseason robot from 3753 BulahBots! (as 9994), and the finalist alliance was 3039 Wildcat Robotics, an off-season bot from 2992 SS Prometheus (as 9992), and 7094 Alpha Omega.
Data will be up on TBA eventually, we just didn’t have a internet connection available in the gym.
