I saw five of these teams at Bayou: 2992 S.S. Prometheus, 3616 Team Phenomena, 3946 Slidell Tiger Robotics, 4013 Clockwork Mania, 4087 Falcon Robotics. All but 4013 were also at Rock City (4013 did Rocket City the week between). That seems a bit unusual - five teams from the same regional in the same division.

Looks like we have a good number of PNW teams in Hopper.
2046, 3663, 1425, 1899, 2976, 4043, 5803, and 7461

Ooooooo I like that the stats are there too.

Pnw will definitely be running away with this one

Any predictions for this one boys?

I think Bear Metal and Code Orange will be taking this division by force.

Which matches in Hopper are we looking forward to watching? I’ve really just been looking at our matches. Q40 looks fun, 3/6 teams from the PNW.

Q75 is 2122, 5803, and 2714 on the red alliance

If 2976 can work out the kinks that they had last weekend I think they’ll be a serious contender for the first overall selection. They are one of the fastest raw scorers in the world and repeatably solo rockets.

Not sure if anyone from 7443 is on CD, but we hope you have a great first time at Champs this year! Too bad there aren’t any other NC teams in Hopper this time, but you are welcome to come to our pit over in Roebling if you need help with anything. Congrats again on RAS, all of NC is cheering for you!

4087 had an extraordinary time competing in Hopper this year to cap off a year of unprecedented success. We were an alliance captain at three straight events, and twice a finalist captain - all without ever handling a piece of cargo. Defense did not ruin this game. It made it great!

Many thanks to our Hopper alliance partners 4043, 2976, and 2992. We had to bow out after QF2 due to a strange ball shifter shaft failure that we are still analyzing. 2992 more than stepped up for the alliance, playing equivalent, really better defense than we played all season. Your contribution to our alliance (on and off the field) cannot be understated.

Congratulations are in order for the winning alliance of 2122, 2046, 6485, and 4192. You guys fought hard in 3 finals matches and walked away with a well deserved Einstein appearance.

Thank you to all the teams we played with and against in this underrated division. We have grown from interacting with all of you and look forward to meeting again in seasons to come!

I wholeheartedly agree! Defense was a great way for teams to test themselves against the best. Finals against you guys was amazing with both alliances giving it the best they had. We really had a blast playing against your alliance, and its unfortunate that your bot suffered damage in quarterfinals. Congratulations to yourselves as well. My team knows first hand how daunting a challenge it is to be the underdog, this year we just got lucky, and a huge kudos to yourself for making it to division finals as the 6th seed.
