Team 8 just got back from the Utah Regional. They finally ended their 14 year drought of not getting a blue banner.
Team 1410 - A huge thank you for picking us and helping our students with their limelight issue as soon as the pit was open this morning. Your active rebalancing is impressive and make balancing look so easy.
Team 3245 - We were so surprised and elated that you were still available as a second round pick for Alliance #1. Your defense made our alliance’s wins in the playoff look easy.
Team 1339, 2122 and 670 - You guys put up big numbers (high score of the event) in the quarterfinals and semifinals with your excellent shooting. It was an honor to play against you.
We really liked the venue. Teams can sit very close to the field on three sides. There are plenty of seats with clear view of the field and they let teams stand close to the field for their matches. There is also plenty of free parking and there is a hotel just across the street. The pits are close to the field and load in and load out was easy.
It was a blast playing with you guys, and we couldn’t have done it without you! One I’ve the cleanest bots I’ve ever seen and definitely deserved the quality award . Everyone on our team had nothing but great things to say about you guys, and we hope to work with you again in the future.
Thanks to Team 1410 and Team 8 for setting up such an effective and enjoyable alliance for the run through playoffs. All of 3245 enjoyed working with both your teams. Always inspiring to play alongside teams that have built machines that play the game at a high level. Such amazing creations with lots of innovative details to admire!
Teams 1410 and 2083 just got home, and while unloading, discovered some items didn’t make it on to our bus. We’re missing 2 Dewalt tool cases with our batteries and electronic equipment, two laptop bags, and a half dozen suitcases/duffles. We were next to a couple other teams when loading, and it was chaos, so if you got home and noticed some extra stuff when unloading, please let us know.
