I wanted to let each of you know that the Ozark Mountain Brawl Early Bird Registration is still open until September 30th. We are looking forward to having another great event here at the Brawl and hope that you will be able to join us for the 2021 Ozark Mountain Brawl. We will be releasing the Skills Challenge documents and COVID protocols next week.

16 is signed up and ready to compete!

Thanks for hosting this again Brian. It’ll be nice to see some robots on the field after a long wait.

We went to this event in 2014 during the summer at Univ. of Arkansas. Great event and it was fun driving there after IRI. Wish we could do this again.

I wanted to let you know that the Ozark Mountain Brawl will be moving to October 29th and 30th due to a scheduling issue on our end. The OMB Skills Challenges have been released, and we are getting ready for a great event. We still have room for teams and volunteers, so please sign up if you are interested. DM me if you have any questions.

Now that the date is changed, we are working to get this approved by our school and hoping to register ASAP so we can attend. Some questions:

1> Are you accepting multiple robots from the same team? We have 2 totally different robots (2020 build + 2021 build) we would like to bring and compete.

2> Due to travel time, we may not be able to make it in time for the “Vision Calibration” or “Skills Challenge” time slots. Would it be possible to slide in a short additional calibration period before qualification matches Friday evening?

3> I see your note about skills challenges being released. Are those posted somewhere (in case we CAN make it in time).

Thanks to @Breakaway3937 for hosting such a great event once again. It was a fun few days and a great chance to connect in person with teams we already knew and make some new friends.

Kudos on a great event. Everything was exceptionally well organized, ran on time, and everyone involved was great to work with! @Breakaway3937 and the whole team did a marvelous job, even while trying to balance running the event with issues they were having with their own robot!

We especially enjoyed the Skills Challenge add-on, providing some new challenges. I know the “Driving in the Dark” challenge presents some logistics challenges to be run safely, but the kids’ had a blast with it.

It was awesome seeing old friends and making a few new friends at the event! Congrats to everyone who participated! Our (somewhat young and relatively inexperienced due to Covid event cancellations) team learned much from this experience!
