2022 FIRST Global Challenge Location Announced

We’re excited to announce that the 2022 FIRST Global Challenge will be hosted by Geneva, Switzerland in October! :switzerland:

After two years of remote challenges, young people from more than 180 countries will take what they’ve learned and meet face-to-face on the playing fields once again in the spirit of global purpose, unity, and Coopertition®.

Interested in volunteering?

We will be recruiting volunteers for both the event and the Global STEM Corps (advisors who remotely help teams design and build their robots)! You can find more information here and register your interest via this form to get specific updates and information on each of these programs.

If you have questions, please send an email to [email protected] or [email protected].

The FIRST Global Information Session at Champs 2022 was recorded and is posted.

The video provides much insight into the history and impact, including comments from Dean, Stephanie (Engineering Lead), Caitlin (Volunteer Lead) and team leaders from FIRST Global Team Kazakhstan, FG Qatar, and an inspiring outreach testimonial by FIRST Team 1622, Team Spyder - which has active mentoring programs with FG Team Paraguay, FG Team Benin, FG Team Togo, FG Team Peru, FG Team Ecuador and FG Team Libya.

Lots for the for entire FIRST Community to be proud of!

FIRST Global recently posted a call for volunteers for the 2022 Geneva event.
