2022 Regal Eagle Rampage - Week 0 Event

Hello CD! On behalf of FRC Team 2869, I am proud to announce the opening of registration for the 2022 Regal Eagle Rampage Week 0 Event!

The event will be held on March 6th, 2022 at Bethpage High School in Bethpage, NY. The event will run from 8am-4pm.

This is a non-competitive event and meant for teams across the region to have access to a full-sized field and carpet in addition to some practice matches. Teams can discuss strategies and help each other resolve issues with their robots. Teams will be able to get a sense of how their robot would perform on a real field before all New York competitions to show them what they need to work on. They will also be able to discuss strategies and help each other resolve issues with their robots

It is on March 6th because it allows the teams to have a bit of extra time, while still being before all of the NY regionals and many other nearby ones. We have run this for a few years and during the seasons with stop build day, the event would actually be during Week 0. We continued the naming trend to reduce confusion.

We finished setting up for the event tomorrow. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube on our school’s channel BHS News. The stream will start at 1 pm EST. We hope to see some great teams tomorrow and play some matches. This entire field could not have been assembled without our army of parent volunteers.
