I may have realized I have a CD liking problem when someone DMd me and told me they had noticed me liking their posts. (Resulted in a wonderful CAD discussion, though!)
I both embarrassed that I appear on several of these lists and relieved that I was beat out by Troy on most likes.
Whoa, though. What a year for this community. This thread always reminds me of things I forgot were so recent. We had allegations of harassment and abuse, discussions on dubious decisions for the championship location – and its safety implications, dialogues around school shootings, and so much more. At the same time, we saw a lot of really cool robots, writeups of team processes and innovations, watched someone go to town on eating a shoe, and beyond.
I know we all have a lot of fun on here (or whatever you want to call the emotion caused by obsessive time spent on a niche forum), but I’m glad to see that we’re able to tackle serious topics, educational topics, and fun topics all while–generally–maintaining a high level of respect.
S/o to the @moderators who had what was probably the hardest year ever to keep this place civil and productive.
Only if that doesn’t match what the boss(es?) thought you were doing. It’s nice to see that suppliers do keep their fingers on the pulse of the community. Thank You.
