I’m trying to piece together what some of these were supposed to be… The first one however has me completely stumped in the first and last thirds.

“_______ Give it up one more time for the _______”

The last picture seems like it’s almost the lyrics of Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas

We were laughing at how badly it screwed up the name of Team 6329 - The Bucks’ Wrath.

My favorite was “Box Trash” but it seemed like there were a dozens different permutations.

I think the last part of the first one (“best mascot in the NFL”) is actually correct, as there was an NFL mascot appearance during einsteins. The first part on the other hand, I have no idea about. Ends up “_______________ Give it up one more time for the best mascot in the NFL”.

I didn’t get a screenshot, but when I was announced during the FIRST LEGO League Challenge closing, my last name appeared as Rum Ball instead of Ronnebaum.

Maybe hire a closed captioner to caption the event? Or use a paid captioning service instead of a free api without testing :man_facepalming:

Yes, but the point of having captions is for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

As someone who relies on captions: how tf am i supposed to know what’s going on at champs? it’s a giant mess! What happens if there’s a a safety announcement or something?

Exactly. Functional closed captioning is an essential accessibility standard, along with being useful to people that generally can’t deal well with noise. And is a critical safety element to allow all to be alerted in the case of emergencies.

Don’t worry, you’re no worse off than those of us with full hearing. The announcements were incomprehensible in GRB when the literal fire alarm went off multiple times.

There were announcements when the fire alarm went off?

I’m surprised there were too. Couldn’t hear a thing.
