Oh hey, I’m reading this post from my MIT dorm! Unfortunately, despite Petey’s best efforts… the grass-touching is not happening here.
Pretty sure all the real grass was replaced with fake grass as part of some elaborate prank years ago. Explains a lot.
Instigated by CalTech, I’d assume.
Check the posts from the system, a couple of the table lines didn’t translate correctly.
Cue Bobby Tables references.
Very glad to not be on a few of those lists this year.
you’ve got competition i was only on CD after worlds
the notification for this caught me completely off guard - i didnt expect to be anywhere near the top 10 for hours spent reading haha
i thought i had cut down my CD usage from my rookie year but i guess not!
It’s called weekly wins for a reason…
Do we get perfect attendance ribbons?
I slipped a few spots too. Just shows what a couple weeks with a crashed computer will do.
Are we surprised?
no
…oh. I don’t like that much…
hmmm I don’t think I spent that much time reading CD. Does it count just an open tab?
Looks like you have to be actively scrolling…
Yes, didn’t think there was enough to even create that many topics in a year from one person
@Brandon_Martus Do you know why some of the stats mentioned aren’t visible on https://www.chiefdelphi.com/u? I recall that some of them (specifically time read) used to be visible there (or I could just have a false memory idk).
Darn, I saw this last year and really wanted to be on the next one. Guess I was too productive in 2023 /shrug
In a list full of topics dealing with difficult, depressing and heartbreaking issues (with the Cone and Cube one being an exception), it brings me a bit of comfort knowing that the most popular/liked topic last year was one that hopefully brought a little joy to the community. If you all need a pick-me-up during the upcoming season, keep a look out in a few months for the sequel, “A 4-year-old’s perspective of CRESCENDO!”
