I have not see anyone talking about it yet so I thought I would ask. What does everyone think about the new double elimination playoff format this year, as described in manual section 11.7.2. How do you think this will effect the strategy for playing and selecting during playoffs?

So, with the double eliminations underway at Chezy Champs, what were your thoughts compared to a normal best-of-three structure?
Something I would like to add: Please preface your post by indicating if you were:
A drive/strategy team member
A spectator at the venue
A spectator on twitch
None of the above (didn’t watch the event)
This will hopefully add some insight into how different people experienced the event.

Honestly I would have preferred dropping us down to top 6 alliance captains, we pick 4 robots like we do at champs, play Bo1 round robin. Top 2 head off to Bo3 finals.
I think this is an improvement but the red/yellow card system needed to be rethought heavily and it wasn’t so we will see how this plays out.
