Not looking at any stats, but it feels like 2023 will yield one of the strongest DCMP events in New England yet. Despite having two fields and 90 teams, there should be extremely intense and exciting matches this week! There will be some very strong teams at NEDCMP who may miss elims.
Very excited for this week! It’ll be awesome having a full DCMP this time, since last year several teams opted to skip for Houston.
Will update here as soon as a final division list is up!
Who do you predict will be division and DCMP winners?
On behalf of Team 5459 Ipswich TIGERS, I would just like to say how insanely grateful we are to have qualified for the New England District Championship for the first time in our team’s history. The 2023 season has marked a record-breaking year for us, and there’s no better way that we could hope to finish it off than competing alongside the incredible top-tier New England teams.
If I’m being honest, I’ve checked TBA a lot today at work hoping they post the divisions. I’m assuming it’ll be soon but damn I’m curious to see how its going to look!
Honestly from an outsiders perspective it really comes down to who can complete the grid, Wilsons field runs deeper than Meier so Wilson is more likely to run triple offense and complete the grid.
Part of my prediction switch is that I think Wilson might have a bunch of ties and close matches because of the triple offense and grid completion. So the Wilson winners are coming in more likely to suffer a failure than Meier.
No disrespect to anyone in any of the divisions just my gut feeling.
