Registration is open for the 2023 Season Long Fantasy First season!
Last year we switched to automated discord drafting, and this year there are even more changes coming to help streamline the experience for others and reduce the barrier to entry in SLFF while still keeping the same level of competitiveness and intensity that the league is known for.
One of the ways we are doing this include grouping regionals with high team overlap into a single draft, thus reducing the number of required picks to be made by teams. This means that the total number of drafts are going to be reduced by approximately 50%, looking like somewhere between 40-50 drafts (down from 80+). As a result, we are reducing team max size back to 5 players/team, as we have the fewest drafts in SLFF since 2014 (excluding 2021 lol). In addition, there are more features coming to the bot such as automatically posting results to CD, which has been an important part of SLFF for many years, now done via bot.
If you used to participate in SLFF, or are looking to get into it but were worried about the time commitment, know that it is easier than ever this year!

How do you sign up for the season? Head on over to our Fantasy First Discord, where we host all our drafts. From there, instructions are available as to how exactly you (and your teammates) can register for the 2023 season through the automated bot, and you can also find other players looking for teammates in the server.
