Does anyone know what’s happening with district points for inter-division playoffs?

Any other lead mentor from other team received the Andymark’s email about the failed Drive Shaft??? We’ve already gotten all our parts from FirstChoice so wondering what we need to do to get the replacement shaft.

[Edit: So apparently, can still be ordered through the FirstChoice website once log in to the main account].

I believe the one on FIRST Choice is different than this year’s KOP hex shaft. From looking at the prints, the E-clip groove is in a different spot.

Looks like they added it. Make sure you order the one at the link as they do have the 2022 shaft on FIRST Choice as well.

Yes, I saw that line. I am lead mentor 1 for 614, and we received a KOP chassis with out of spec shafts. I don’t know what else you’re trying to say by just quoting things from a link that I posted.

I’m assuming that the emails to teams affected will be going out soon, but they got the information into the team update as fast as they could. I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in the timing of things, as they just acknowledged this problem late Friday.

They just sent the emails out at about 11:30am CT. I’m assuming ineligible teams just mean teams that didn’t order the KOP chassis.

Not sure how they’ve overlooked this.

At the same time, if you’re in interdivisionals, you’ve already won your division earning 30 × 3 = 90 points, on top of your qualification performance plus your alliance bonus… probably enough to not split hairs.

Update for posterity - found this further down in the full manual:

Each team on a Champion ALLIANCE of a 2-Division District Championship Playoff
tournament earns 10 points.
For a 4-Division District Championship Playoff tournament, each team on a Champion
ALLIANCE earns 20 points and each team on a Finalist ALLIANCE receives 10 points.
