We know everyone is eager to start programming their 2024 robots, but things are running a bit behind schedule. We don’t have an exact timeline for when the 2024 Game Tools and WPILib releases will be available, but we’ll get them out as soon as we can. In the meantime, please don’t install the beta software–doing so will just create more work for you later. Thanks for your patience!

For the “don’t have an exact timeline”, do you think we are still talking sometime this weekend or waiting for NI to get back to the office Monday morning to ungate some steps?

Should RI3D teams just use the beta?
We are using 2023 we have had problems in the past with vendor deps getting update in the past so we always use the previous years now.

I would if you can’t wait. Your transition to the release version will be easier than if you use 2023.

Note: You need to set the ReadTheDocs version to ‘latest’ in the bottom-left corner for the link to go to the NI Game Tools iso file.
The link on the stable version is https://packages.wpilib.workers.dev/game-tools/ni-frc-2024-game-tools_24.0.0_offline.iso which seems like the correct one.
It was just going to the NI website for me for a bit, maybe my browser was just caching it?
Latest is now equivalent of stable.
The current version of the game tools is missing the smart dashboard and shuffleboard. Anyone else having this problem?
SmartDashboard and Shuffleboard launch the respective dashboards included with the C++ and Java WPILib installation.
