Hello CD! On behalf of FRC Team 2869, I am proud to announce the 2024 Regal Eagle Rampage Week 0 Event!
The event will be held on March 3rd, 2024 at Bethpage High School in Bethpage, NY. The event will run from 8am-4pm.
This is a non-competitive event and meant for teams across the region to have access to a full-sized field and carpet in addition to some practice matches. Teams can discuss strategies and help each other resolve issues with their robots. Teams will be able to get a sense of how their robot would perform on a real field before all New York competitions to show them what they need to work on. They will also be able to discuss strategies and help each other resolve issues with their robots.
This event will be webcast on our BHS News Youtube Account.
Early registration requires the check/PO to be received by January 6th (Kickoff)
Team 2869 will be collaborating with Team 9016 to have our rampage field open for a week following this event (Monday March 4th through Friday March 8th). This will be available to Long Island teams for practice and calibration in the afternoons/evenings.
More information will be available soon as we finalize details.
We are looking for help transporting the field elements between our gym and the location of the practice field. (~3 min drive). If you are interested in helping and have a pickup truck/trailer please email our mentor at [email protected]

The start of the Crescendo build season is almost here!
Last year, five of the teams that started their competition season on our practice field went on to finish the season at the Houston championships. As you plan out your build season, please consider making your first event the Regal Eagle Rampage. If you are scheduled to compete at Hofstra, this will give your team the opportunity to test your machine (and your operators!) on a full-size practice field a couple of weeks ahead of the First Long Island Regional. This year the event will be on Sunday, March 3rd from 8 AM to 4 PM. The registration fee is $350.
This year, we will be extending the use of our practice field for five days after Rampage. In collaboration with the Syosset Braves, Team 9016, we are offering local teams the chance to practice any afternoon from March 5 – 9. See this flyer for details:
We are running out of space pretty quickly, We currently have 16 teams signed up. We are limited to 24 teams this year due to space and timing restrictions. If you are interested in attending please sign up quickly to ensure your spot.
