Hi Everyone,

Just did it, I got 8/18 which isn’t bad considering how specific it was! As a drive coach I’m more on the end of “if it’s bad don’t do it”, I’d love to see an extra question or two sprinkled in about number of points, times, robot sizes, shooting zones, etc.
Also did the quiz! The biggest mistakes I made were caused by my brain thinking that a Tech foul is very detrimental, but feels like this year you will get a tech foul for almost any small violation, if not multiple.

Hi!!
Thanks for the feedback. Will add in stuff like that for next year!! Thanks.
Yeah this year a lot of things are TFs
There are 2 mistakes in the quiz.
First is “Team 9999 has not passed inspection and shows up to their match when it begins. What rule if any is called?”
This is an alliance red card. Not only team 9999.
Also the second question is “Team 9999 damages one Game piece in Match 3. They then damage another game piece in match 13. What happens.”
This should be 2 verbal warnings as repeated has a very specific meaning in the manual.
I don’t think it is a good quiz for drivers, I would prefer them to know all the rules and the scoring table rather than the punishments for these rules.
That might be a better quiz for referees
I got 11/18 I think that is pretty good. The biggest ones I got wrong were the 3 related to human interaction with the game.
These are all being shared as I go through and don’t know what you have set as the answers.
General thoughts: For a rules specific quiz, it helps to capitalize words that are capitalized in the manual. These are defined terms. There’s also a few places where context is important. A final thought is to remember things practically play out different than a literal interpretation at times. It’ll help to share that.
I assume this is something intended for your team. It’s a great start to get people thinking about rules =)
Post viewing your results - The operator console one played out as I described as practical versus literal. The last one was actually what I was hoping to see =)
