2024 Scouting Analysis Spreadsheet from 2194 Fondy Fire

Team 2194 is happy to share our Scouting Analysis Spreadsheet again this year. We’ve been using this format for many years, and it has helped us analyze scouting data to make decisions for match strategy and making pick lists.

The spreadsheet is formatted to work with PWNAGE ScoutingPASS, but it could work with any system if you format your data to work with our “Match Input” Tab. There are many macros, so you’ll need to enable macros to use the file. There’s an instruction tab that should (hopefully) explain everything.

Here’s the link to the files in Google Drive.

The folder contains four files:
-2194 Scouting Analysis-Crescendo
-2194 Scouting Analysis-Crescendo – with sample data (the data is fictitious)
-SCAN QR Codes HERE
-Create Match Schedule from TBA (this file helps copy/paste the match schedule into a format that works with our analysis spreadsheet)

NEW this year is a tab called “SUPER SCOUT”. It can be used for subjective, qualitative scouting when watching the match from an overall perspective. A macro button filters the teams so only the teams in the current match are shown. It’s a convenient way to take notes throughout the day and have them all in one place.

Note that when you download the files, Windows might block the macros by making the file “untrusted”. If that happens, go to Windows File Explorer, right click on the file, click Properties, then at the Security section at the bottom of the General Tab, click the box to UNBLOCK the file.

Below are sample pictures of the output (the data is fictitious).

I can’t thank 2194 enough for publishing this for the community to use!!

We didnt have a system in place at our first event last year for visualizing the data we collected with ScoutingPASS, and it showed when trying to analyze and make use of the data for pre match strategy and pick list discussions.

After discovering your spreadsheet before our second event, we implemented it fully and couldn’t be happier! Truly an amazing utility.

And to think, just last night we were talking about this spreadsheet and saying we should see if Fondy Fire would be releasing an updated version for this year!

This is an awesome spreadsheet from Fondy Fire.

PWNAGE used this last year to help us in our scouting meetings. We especially loved the pick list features.

Thanks!

Hey! I’ve never used macros on Google Sheets, can someone help me and see how to run macros so that all my tabs will be updated? Anything helps! Thanks

Hello. Unfortunately, the Fondy Fire scouting analysis sheet will not work correctly in Google sheets. You need to use the desktop version of Excel with macros enabled. It will be an xlsm file. If you have Excel, the macros are as easy as just clicking the button to update the whole sheet.

This is awesome! We used it last year and it really helped out. Thank you once again!

Ohhh this makes so much sense! Thank you
