Here is a short teaser of our shooter testing from last night
Speechless…
Well done!
Truly Amazing!:ahh: Can’t wait to see it when it is all done !::safety::
How do you plan to pull it back, hold it, and release it?
The leading plan is to pull it back with a winch on a non back drivable gearbox and to release it with a dog gear shifting the gearbox into neutral.
Here’s another look at our shooter now releasing with a pneumatic driven latch and winched back with our drive gearbox from last year. We are working to get some stronger springs and adjust the shot angle so our shot is a lot flatter http://i1.wp.com/www.fightingcalculators.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/6aya1.gif?resize=360%2C202
Nice work Calculators!
Looks good!
It’s got the power needed for a fairly long shot. Was that half court or longer? Also, this begs another question, how will you get the ball onto your shooter?

Our intake is designed to pull the ball over the bumper, from there, the ball rests in the basket/claws where it waits to be shot.
