Got my typical sheet from FIRST Choice. If anyone wants to be able to add costs for items, please let me know. Otherwise you can also just leave comments (I don’t know if you can leave suggestions?) and I will try to accept/add them as I can.
Anyone know how many credits we get?
Looks like 540. First Choice Credits page
EDIT: You’ll need to log in to see this page.
Noticeable lack of radio or Ethernet switch…
Are you sure that’s the new stuff? It looks identical to last year
Noticable abundance of Fuel - Bag of 6 (am-3376-6)
Yeah it was very sparse this year. Most of the items were offered last year, but items like the PDH aren’t available this year.
My favorite thread of the year!
FIRST Robotics. Never having to buy another roll of duct tape in your life…
Keep in mind that more stuff shows up in round 2. Looks like that was the case for the PDH last year based on the previous spreadsheet.
I can help fill it out.
Man, the pickings sure are lean this year. How long does it usually take Spectrum to release their guide? Also, shoutout to TTB for putting some super useful stuff in there.
Meager offerings in Round 1 this year. No control system stuff except SPARK MAX and NEOs (and RSLs). I expect we’ll be holding on to a lot of our points till Round 2.
good price on spark maxes (100points) and not so good on neos (100 points)
Maybe a good year to stock up on fans.
Can confirm we too will likely be entering into the Spark/Neo lottery, and holding out for round 2 with the rest of our points.
I’m not really sure what the guide is this year, maybe something like:
- Add REV and TTBThe Thrifty Bot parts to your list.
- Which color duct tape do you want?
Usually there’s a lot more pneumatics stuff round 1, bummer it’s not there. In terms of what we would actually use this year, it’s pretty much TTB products / REV products / (maybe) photoelectric sensors / signal lights / tape.
I mean… pull a LadyCans and make everything out of duct tape! Fundraise by making duct tape objects, make your robot out of duct tape, and much more!
We asked about this at our WFA meeting. IIRC, there is 25,000 left in inventory.
FIRST needs to use it as an FTC gamepiece or something. Dang.
