We found an issue that has apparently happened to a few teams.
A Kracken with an unmodified shaft does not pay well with a single stage MaxPlanetary.
Our elevator would work fine with just the base stage of the gearbox, but once we attached the motor it would bind up and we could not figure out why. Then we noticed some scratching on the tops of the retaining bolt.
I don’t think we damaged the motors like they described in this linked thread, but it was a lesson learned.
