Team F.R.E.D.'s 3 functioning robots are all prototypes at this point. Two of them are our drive train test bots will allow us to test different wheel and drive set-ups for this up coming season. We are testing out a set of mecanum wheels and a set of side by side omniwheels. Our third bot is last years robot with a loading arm attached to test out lift designs for Recycle Rush this year.

You… um… you realize that another member of your team posted the exact same thing just a couple of days ago, right?
If you are posting information in the Robot Showcase thread, please do the following things, at a minimum:

Consolidate all of your team’s ideas into one thread. It will make for easier, more concise reading, and better allow other teams to track your progress.

Provide some detailed information as to what’s going on, including things like pictures and videos. This will show off your ideas in a concrete way (a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth 30,000 words per second) and will make your posts seem more reputable. I could claim that our team has a working robot that can stack ten totes, four bins, seven noodles and a potted plant, but if I don’t have pictures or video, no one would believe me, and rightfully so.

Agreed, except so-called “teasers”. Teasers aren’t worth the energy spent inhaling the breath required to supply oxygen to the finger that enables it to click on the photo.

Just trying to make a point that “3 working prototypes” seems to be a little misleading **and ** keep the conversation lighthearted.
