Can you explain how you do this, ready to go standby can? Do you just run a set of can wires that aren’t connected? What’s the process of connecting up the other set? We currently run daisy chain.
Simply put, yes. If we cant trace an immediate obvious issue with the CAN bus, we use the backup set of wire(s), in the essence of not losing critical time between matches, especially the playoffs. Then troubleshoot further if/when we have a chance.
This is the same when we have a broken subsystem that would be impossible to fix in time for the next match such as our intake. We replace/swap, then do the repair.
Edit: It still doesn’t seem to work in real life, and looking at the CAD it doesn’t look like it should either. Anyone able to help?
Edit 2: Solved! CAD for the sensor mount is slightly incorrect, we’re addressing it now. Thanks Glenn!
I missed this earlier. Looks like its coming along great!!
Last bits and pieces of furnishings to do, put on the climber (we’ll see if that happens by TT) and our clone is working! we’re planning on adding some of our own modifications as well that aren’t shown yet in this video, especially in regards to vision. Insanely complex bot. Super ingenious design. Thanks for putting it out there as a resource for all of us!
