Due to popular request, Team 2910 is excited to release our CAD for our current robot cart. Our cart was badly in need of an update, so we settled on this for our off season training project for our design and fabrication students last year. We designed it to be able to stow inside itself for airplane and car transport, hold 3 batteries, store 5 water bottles for drive team, and support the driver station so that we can use it while on the cart. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Thanks! My team has been looking for a new robot cart design! Where did you get the wheels?

Cool to see this here after just last night watching 2910’s Behind the Glass video and noticing the water bottle holders and other features on the cart.
Thanks for sharing the design!

This looks great! By any change do you have a BOM for the cart or an estimated price?
Thank you!

You should be able to access the BOM via the Onshape link, although it’s the final parts list not the raw material order.
Estimated cost is about $1500, more if you use pre-drilled aluminum tubes. Rough breakdown below:
- ~$500 Hardware Order (McMaster)
- ~$500 Tubes and 1/8" Aluminum Sheet (Online Metals)
- ~$180 Shaft Stock, Tube Plugs, 1/4" Polycarb (WestCoast Products)
- ~$150 Water Bottle Holders (Fabworks - Use Code FRC2910!)
- ~$170 Casters (Caster Specialists, linked above)
- ~$70 for 1/4" Aluminum parts (estimated, these parts and material was donated to us by a sponsor)
