Currently the best executed robot I’ve seen on video.

Bravo to 2910.

Very impressive form factor. Given the potential for slightly off center pickup, are you doing anything automatic to align correctly, or is that not a problem?

This is the most 2910 robot I’ve ever seen. So compact, so integrated.

Adore the reveal shot behind the field gate.

One of my favorite robot reveals so far. From the clean intake to the fast elevator to the out take.

Not super visible in the video but it’s green cord, same stuff we used to retract our climbers last year. It’s attached to the fixed stage and runs on pulleys on the first stage, the ends attached to the second stage. It uses the movement of the first stage relative to the fixed stage to drive the second stage.

As of right now, we don’t have automated placement. We’ll figure out if it affects our performance once we’re able to.

Compact and dangerous as always.

Fantastic robot! I was wondering, what material are you using for the rollers?

This material on polycarb tube.

I remember wanting to anodize the robots back when I was on 2910. It’s amazing seeing how much the team has evolved and improved over the years.

That is stunning. Well done and best wishes this season!

This is the most optimal design. Big fan. Why a sprocket instead of a pulley?

Chain (#35 chain specifically) is much stiffer. A lot of the design decisions were made to maximize stiffness since with a large arm that’s critical to being able to move it quickly and precisely.
