3 Cone "Yeet" Autonomous & Dock - FRC 3255

FRC 3255 Offseason Auto

Heres a quick video showcasing our 3 cone “Yeet” autonomous! After much consideration this was the chosen name. This offseason Team 3255, the SuperNURDs produced this new robot, and competed at Battle at the Border and Beach Blitz!

Enjoy!

imagine if you could control a cone yeet enough to land it on a node

The team you are looking for is 5419. Red alliance, bottom right corner.

Not a full charge station yeet, but the best you’re gonna get.

1706 scored cones on the mid and high nodes this year by shooting them onto the nodes, it’s quite pretty to watch
Here’s a nice match that they played at champs this year

We were messing around a little bit and seeing if we could get a cone onto the node. But we couldn’t get it to rotate enough in the air and we only spent a few minutes on it because it was funny. We never used it at Beach Blitz except once in a practice match. Ill see if I can get Eli to post the video of us trying to get it onto the node

Reminded me of 66’s cone flipper, only worked a couple times, but it was very innovative.

That’s super cool they got it so consistent

7028 also had a cone shooter, they did it from farther away, only having an elevator and an wrist, probably one of the simplest high node cone scoring robot this year!

Here’s a clip of us using our launch button at Beach Blitz last weekend!

We never spent that much time trying to tune the Yeet - we didn’t even know we could yeet game pieces until I misclicked while our elevator was going up - but we definitely landed cones in the mid cube node a few times if that accounts for anything

This ended up being a super fun auto to watch, great job making it work! I would say this is the most entertaining auto I’ve seen this year

A close up shot! We definitely had some fun after finding out our robot could do this
