How much of an accuracy benefit did you notice from running carbon plates on the shooter?

Carbon fiber makes everything cooler. So I’m guessing it made the shooter at least 110% more accurate.

What swerve are you running?

MaxSwerve with Vortexes and the EH4 speed gearing.

Well actually, they are not carbon fiber. while they may look similar, the material we are actually using is called SRPP(self-reinforced polypropylene). The reason we are using SRPP is to replace Polycarbonate, as SRPP is less dense, has higher tensile stiffness, is Loctite resistant, and laser cuttable. also there is little to no accuracy benefit from SRPP than from Polycarbonate. : )

Do you mind sharing where you source it from?

A lasercuttable replacement for polycarbonate sounds really useful!

Any update on this? SRPP seems like a really neat material that would fit our workflow well.

What match was that if I may ask?

I assume you’re asking about triple harmony. I made that comment because of their very small climbing footprint:

I don’t think it happened (or we’d have seen it on CD)

Hey i was wondering if yall based your design off of 4481/6328 at all. if so in what ways,

Hi, we saw your robot at Kettering AllStar Alliance and had a great conversation with one of your team members abour SRPP. Are you able to share more here about sourcing, lessons learned, etc.?
