With the 2024 kickoff just days away now, here is 3739’s code and CAD release from the 2023 season, Charged Up.
Note that this render includes our intake that we competed with in week 1 at the Georgian District event. During this event, we came to the conclusion that our intake was a rather severe bottleneck to our robots overall potential. Over the next week the team designed, prototyped and then built a new REV1 intake (shown below), which vastly improved our on field performance.
Our 2023 season was one of the best in the team’s history, and a large part of that can be attributed to our amazing programming team.
Thanks to their hard work, we managed to produce a driving MAXSwerve chassis by week 2 of build season, develop/tune control loops that we had struggled with in the past, and implement some of the most successful auto routines this team has ever fielded (my personal favourite being our 1.5 piece bump side auto, which we ran all throughout elims at DCMP this year).
The whole team is very excited to see what we can achieve this coming season, and wish all teams the very best in their endeavors this year!
