I really don’t see what’s so impressive or unique about sparky that has been making it win matches… But congrats none the less.

Sparky is a bot with a good drivetrain and a great driver. They play the smartest game I have seen at either of their regionals. In Stack Attack, very few bots do more than push boxes and bots (essentially box bots) so driver awareness is key. They are always where the action is, and come back from the dead with their self righting arm. They dont need some unique but essentially worthless subsystem to win matches. Plus they know how to work with good partners. Congrats CRT, Sparky and SparTechs!

Thank u so much Aaron but we could not have done it with ur help or any of the other Alliance partners!! Annapolis was the greatest Regional i ever been too!!

Yes, 384 will be going to Nats (thank god) and mabey 1111 will be there so Sparky, Sparky, and Sparx can go against eachother!

Gadget i agree, its probobly luck, there seems to be alot of that this year

When you go out on a match, a single screw could come apart and hit a speed controller, starting a fire much like the team 1184 in annapolis.
A piece of rubber could come off your wheel and hang there on it, just happening to land still attched to the bot on the grating.
A million and one wires could simply be bad.
A hit there, a hit there, and a limbs gone, no matter how well engineered.
Luck is everything. Chaos theory demands it.
At 25 we don’t do luck. But we know we are darned lucky.
Good bot Sparky, I’m sure you earned every inch of that win.
I wanted to let 25 know that since day one at annapolis, i knew u guys had a very very impressive bot. I took some time to talk to some of you guys (dont remember names) in the stands and on the busses. U guys knew what you were doing. I am positive that at your next event, you will exceed all previous expectations.
(I know this is in another thread…but maybe next year, you guys can have the same speed and precision stuffing clowns in a car as u had this year knocking down those bins…hehe)

I am truly afraid that FIRST will accept our clown idea :-/. Considering our expert driver is retiring after this year, I have no idea how we’ll get that precision back (trust me, this current bot is hard to drive).
ya it was cool teamin up with u guys. We should team up in houston. Only like nine people went to maryland so sparky didn’t make much noise like in vcu but at the nationals we’re gonna bring down the house. I have ma voice back completely now!!! We had fun workin with u guys!!! GO 388!!!
