3DS Max Sound

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how to put background sound into a 3ds max animation. Im a rookie and took the hard task of doing the Anami.

Thank You,

Under the track view, right click sound and choose properties.

I would recommend using a post production program for that…you’ll have more flexibility.

You CAN use the method above, but you won’t be able to add in sound effects and stuff, just background music.

You can add sound effects in max as well, but I would also recommend a post production video editor such as premier or vegas video.

I just wanted to say thanks. I apprichate you’re time, its been hard being a rookie ont he team. I have the Anami, Programming, other basic computer work, and im even possible driving or being HP. I also am like the team manager of all the paperwork. I basically have to know everything about all things with first. I have about 5,000 printouts. Its insane trying to keep track of all that.

Thanks Again,

Another thing that you might want to look at is Folley Studio by Digimation… you can get a free version of this off of the Resource cd that comes with 3ds max5. I’m in the process of looking at it along with working on my animation… but it’s a nice little program to use… that’s it…
