4 Hangers at SBPLI Long Island Regional

Here’s a picture of 329, 467, 569, and another team (can’t tell from this camera angle) all hanging at the same time. It was a great moment. Even better was when the human players walked onto the field to take the robots off the bar. The look of puzzlement was classic.

Uh, where’s the picture?

and

In the second you can see that the other team was 545.

Sorry about the pics not loading up. Its being a bit odd.

If you can’t get the links to work you might just want to upload them to the CD picture gallery.

Not all 4 robots were legally hanging off the bar. Team 569 and 467 were the only two to recieve credit since 329 was hanging off of 545 when thier hook fell short and 545 was unable to life off the ground with the added weight of 329’s robot. Since they were on opposing sides the outcome would have been the same if all 4 robots were hanging.

If you want to see pics of the 4 hangers, go to our website (award winning website, I might add  )-

And click on Gallery, then go to the Long Island Regional, then scroll down to pics DSC_0182, DSC_0183 and DSC_0186 you’ll see the 4 hangers. And enjoy all of the other pics.

Since they were on opposing sides the outcome would have been the same if all 4 robots were hanging.

Except that all four teams would recieve 50 more qualifying points.
