4415 leaked design 2023?!?

So we were messing around and at one point primary driver and myself had an idea to try and score with our 2910 clone we made last year, and it didn’t turn out horrible actually… wanted to share because we found it funny but maybe some of you will take some design inspiration from it as well.

Looks very cool. Is speaker possible?

I don’t think it’s directly possible with that design. the rollers are a small diameter and always in contact with the NOTE, which doesn’t give them a lot of time to spin up to a speed that propels the NOTE high enough to score in SPEAKER.

This was an off-season project of 4415. They built 2910’s robot for the 2023 game.

I have complaints.

  1. Illegal bumper configuration.
  2. Probably more than 12 inches beyond the frame perimeter.
  3. I watched a 36 second teleop video and only saw 5 points scored.
  4. You call that a stage??
  5. I feel sorry for that poor squealing Falcon 500
  6. I hope those mecanum wheels on your table aren’t being put to good use.

Honestly I thought this was gonna be a joke post about a fake 4414 leaked design with the 4415 being a hasty typo.

while i can’t address the things that are illegal, i will say

  1. i have no clue why we have a mecanum wheel out, i think primary driver just wanted something to fidget with so don’t worry
  2. hey don’t diss on the points scored-a bot that scores in the amp THAT quickly wouldn’t be my last choice of an alliance partner to be honest. constantly having the amp online would be kinda nice
  3. that falcon is super resilient, it’s been put through quite a bit of abuse since we made this clone

also for anyone confused, this thread is almost all completely jokes

While I’m not gonna leak our CAD I will say our offseason intake that we used at TT was partially able to intake the notes

One of my first KrayonCad designs was this style bot with a climber so it could score trap. :sob:

We watched kickoff from a different school site in Honolulu (to get our KOP) and didnt get back to our scheduled time at our shop 4 hours later. :call_me_hand:
