During this week the team has been working on autonomous and drivers practice. Today we got our first 6 ball auto.

Testing other parts we were able to get a faster time by doing an inverse 6 cargo auto path. If someone has advice on what paths we should try we’d really appreciate it.

Looks great! Curious what tool you are using for path planning in auto?

We simply use the generator provided in WPILib:

We split the autonomous in different trajectories, and we select the headings so that each segment is generated as a straight line, regarding the heading of the robot, we can set waypoints that activate whenever the robot reaches a target point. The heading can be a constant one, aiming at the target, etc.
