Oops. We’ll see Miss Daisy and most of the rest of you at the Duel on the Delaware in October. We’ll be at Wissahickon in NOVEMBER.
With the fortunate close proximity of all these off-season comps in our area (DE, PA, NJ, MD), we should consider from August (MD State Fair) to November (Ramp Riot, this year) as the second half of the competition season!

Many familiar team names on that list… it’ll be rather interesting to see how robots do at the three competitions in our area- Duel on the Delaware, Final Bin Bash, and then Ramp Riot… PARC and NASA/MD State Fair both were awesome… Isn’t this area (PA-NJ-Del-MD) a hotbed for offseason competitions? Sure feels that way, there ain’t never any time to fix our robot, but who says it needs fixing
Yeah you can bet we will be there. We plan on having just as much fun as we did last year too. You guys always hold a good comp and with a tough field it is sure to be a good time.

Just out of curiosity, how many post season competitions have the TigerTrons attended this year? You guys are everywhere!
I must say, 222 is very impressive in their competitiveness and FIRST spirit. These guys and gals are a team to look up to.
We wouldn’t miss Ramp Riot!!! We had way too much fun there last year!
To answer your question Andy, we have hosted PARC, we were at Battle Cry, and of course IRI. We are finishing the off season with Duel on the Deleware, Bin Bash and the final competition being Ramp Riot. We’ve had a great time this season and look forward to keep on rollin. Can’t wait for Ramp Riot!
Team 222 has been a tremendous influence on the growth of Ramp Riot and the entire Mid-Atlantic off-season circuit.
Back in 2000, we were a rookie team with an idea to hold a small Fall scrimmage. We looked to 222 for advice on how to put it all together. Fred Harding (222 head coach) was gracious and full of encouragement.
That first year we only had 8 teams in an empty gym. One of those teams was 222.
In the years that followed an entire “circuit” of events has grown. Team 341 not only organizes Ramp Riot but also attends PARC, Maryland State Fair, Duel on the Delaware and Final Bin Bash. These events provide all of the quality excitement that you would expect at any regular season event.
In the true spirit of FIRST we cooperate with each other, making sure that we all have what we need to make a great event.
Gracious Professionalism is not just an expression. It is a springboard for success! And I really feel that this all started with Fred Harding back in 2000.
This year at our 4th annual Ramp Riot we will honor the original 7 teams that joined us that day in the gym. Team 222, the Tigertrons, is one of those teams. These folks are True “GAMERS” in every sense of the word!!!

Hee hee… a FIRST quint-crown. Maybe we should get organizers together and have some type of prize for the team that does the best in the PA-NJ-DE-MD area competitions.

I think thats a great idea… do i recall another region having a similar chain of events with this prize system? Indiana maybe?..
hmmmmmmmmmmmm…
ramp riot…
oh yes me remember that was the first regional i ever went to i would never miss that one and i have a new costume in store for you guys this year. I hope to see all my friends from 341 and 87
see ya there
I am really looking forward to Ramp Riot. Team 341 always puts on a great show and since this region is full of great teams the competition should be awesome. I really enjoyed the 2001 Ramp Riot because I missed the whole FIRST regular season events(and PARC) that year. These fall events are a great way to gear up for the new season.
