5818 is being discontinued and rebranded to 9084 octobots

Happy Kickoff day! Just to be clear, team 5818 has not folded, it is on hiatus. 9084 is a new rookie team started by a few students and mentors wanting to continue FRC this year. Not a “rebrand”.
We are working out of a classroom at Dos Pueblos high school, with our own limited tools and supplies. No school funding, no relationship with the DPEA (ex 1717). No 5818 tools or supplies. We have been allowed to use developed code from last year (as needed), hence the posting above.
That said, we are excited for our first season, and hope to carry on the tradition of excellent, interesting robots from the Santa Barbara area.
