That’s awesome!! Out of curiosity do you expect to run 6 ball at the competition and how will you account for the other robots ok your alliance?

Thanks! When we return from the human player station, we plan on coming less close to the goal and shooting from a further distance. This will give our alliance partners the opportunity to shoot and leave their tarmacs in the first 8-10 seconds (the time it takes us to reach the human player station) without hitting us. We’ll communicate this to our partners at the beginning of the match and, if need be, we’ll assist them in adding the delay.

Are you grabbing cargo from the other side of the center line? Isn’t that illegal?

Nope, just the 3 cargo in the ring on our side of the center line, plus 2 by the terminal and 1 preloaded.

That one was a joke, the only way for that would be to either assume that your alliance partners won’t be preloading or to attempt to catch cargo exiting from the hub (both of which wouldn’t really be consistent)

Cargo not preloaded starts on the side of the other alliance, so this isn’t helpful too.

Yep, there are only six balls readily available. Two more can be preloaded by your two alliance partners or stationed on the other side of the field. The other three are in the arc of balls on your opponents side. That adds up to 11, the total number of balls of each color.
