Hello and welcome to the Team 6025 Adroit Androids 2025 Build Thread! This blog will document our journey throughout the build season. I am Hüseyin Arda, the Robot Captain of the team. We are excited to be back in FRC after a one-year break.
Team Info
We are a school-based team located in Istanbul, Turkey. Our journey began in 2016 with a group of enthusiastic students. With the Reefscape season, we are entering our ninth year of competing in this exciting competition.
We will be sharing our progress and experiences with you week by week. As we haven’t competed in the 2024 season, we may lack some veteran experience. Therefore, your feedback and support will be crucial for us
KICKOFF:
For the kickoff we have went to the Galatasaray Robotics’s (9020) Kickoff which was pretty good kickoff event for my team I am sending my appreciation to organizer of the kickoff event.
First Thoughts:
The diameter difference between two game parts will develop new types of intakes.
The game strategies will more likely to stack Corals and sending Algeas to processors.
We are going to see really interesting elevator design because of not having a height limit.
The game is not suitable for defence, teams need to at least score corals to level 1
We bought swerve in this year so we don’t need more to think about tank drive gearbox so we started thinking on intake mechanism which have various of ideas coming out from team we are going to choose by some important requirements.
VH-109 Radio:
We are planning to use VH-109 Radio that came out from Season Spesific Box as we make research on document we have found that there are several ways of connecting radio as we have using OM5P radio prior VH-109 we want to use same connection as the old radio (VRM → POE → Radio) we are going to try with limelight at this week.
As the start of the season I think we are going to see different kinds of robot doing same task with various type of ways. we are planning to update our build thread week by week.
