Wow, both sides put up a very impressive score, was this a practice match? Were there a lot of foul points? Were yall running 60 point cycles? Great job anyways!
It wasn’t an actual match.
Ok didn’t think so, I looked it up on TBA and didn’t see one. What was the setting for the score?
It was [strike]a show match between 67/103/111 and 16/254/1538 for the weather channel[/strike] the allstars match.
Ah, makes sense, sorry, I’m not at Champs unfortunately so I have to watch from the sidelines! Good luck to all teams!
Did anyone get video of this show match?
A score like that at championship shows either the game is not challenging enough or teams shouldn’t have qualified for champs or poor sportsmanship - not defending opponents in anyway! This score seems to be attention grabber!
…or that people post before reading the thread far too often.
Or that is an “in bad taste” stick-poking at a prior thread that had run the course and should probably have been Godwin’d a few pages in.
I chuckled.
Does someone please have a video of this? This sounds like the alliances that teams picked on the Einstein thread…
I’ll take this road:
Video or it didn’t happen:D
OK, so you’ll have to excuse the bad angle, poor quality, 16-centric focus, and Meredith’s running commentary.
Oh, and it might have been a little longer than regulation…
It Happened!
Cool:cool:
At least I didn’t cuss.
It was a real event. Hall of Fame teams were selected for the demo match. It went long to fit into the Weather Channel segment, which aired live about 7:08 AM on Friday. The Weather Channel said they would try to get the segment on their website. Later in the day, they did something similar with FTC. It was interesting watching a game with no Announcer (no background noise for the broadcast).
And no robot slamming noises!
