I remember someone saying that there were 70 teams going to the great Lakes regional. Has this been confirmed?? is there enough room for everyone?? That is a heck of alot of teams for a regional. Anyone know which 70 teams are going?? If there are 70 teams I bet it will be the most electrifying regional in FIRST today. If you smell what the bots are cookin.

In the last numbers that I saw from FIRST posted to this site, there was 70 teams confirmed as going to the Great Lakes regional. While I don’t know exactly which ones are going, you can find out at least some of them by going to team 74’s event registry at the link below.

Hi all,
Lori sent out a list of who is going to what regionals a few weeks ago.
I never got around to sorting the data by regional and exporting the data to HTML…
… Until now.
If you want to know who is going to what regionals, follow the link below.
Joe J.
P.S. Sorry for the rough index page. I didn’t have time to make a nice looking page. As always on Chief Delphi, content comes first. By the way this was about 20 minutes of work. I really don’t understand why FIRST didn’t bother to post this data themselves rather than sending out tab-delimited lists for us to parse through & sort all by ourselves. Eric – any response?

Microsoft is sponsoring a team?!? I wonder if we will have the GNU team next year, with the Open Source Foundation as their sponsor. Let’s hope they’re really good, too; they’ll release all their information to the public.

Hey all…
Mark has been diligently working on getting the team list out on the FIRST website. I sent the list to Mike Martus…with the promise that he wouldn’t post it on this site until Mark’s was finished! Well, Mark is almost done…I just proofed the final version late yesterday afternoon. The reason you got the tab delimited version, is that is just me sending it out, and I just export the records from the database and send it to you. I’m NOT the expert on putting things in any better format than that…that’s why I rely on Mark and Eric!
Mark’s will be a lot nicer than the one I sent…so please be patient…Mark also has about a million other things that he’s working on at the moment…so, the team lists, according to regionals, and a complete team list will be out there within a couple of days! Thanks for your patience!

Hi all,
I am so so so sorry!
I totally forgot how I got that list. Martus sent me a copy asking if I could help him print it because he was not an Excel Guru. I now learn that the list was not for general consumption.
I assumed that he got it from the usual FIRST e-mails to team leaders (which I SHOULD have known was wrong because I am on that list and I didn’t get a copy directly – one of those things that you know but don’t know… …until you get reminded that you knew.)
Anyway, it was a mistake that got these posted without FIRST’s permission. I am very sorry.
-Lori. I have already left you a voice mail groveling. Please forgive me.

Joe,
All is forgiven! I heard your voicemail…left you one too. You were so cute…in a pathetic kind of way!
Don’t think that we’ll hold anything against you because of it!
Have a great weekend…and don’t lose any sleep over this whole thing!
